Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Pirates vs. Eastland Cougars
On Saturday, the Ottawa Pirates didn't have quite enough to beat the Eastland Cougars and fell 2-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eastland was led to victory by Morgan McCullough and Trinity Carroll. McCullough had 17 digs, while Carroll had ten digs.
Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Eastland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Ottawa will face off against Genoa-Kingston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ottawa is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Eastland, they will take on Belvidere at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
