Basketball Recap: David Douglas Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the David Douglas Scots didn't have quite enough to beat the Milken Wildcats and fell 45-43. The game marked the Scots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

David Douglas now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Milken, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. David Douglas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Century at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Milken will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Pilibos at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
