You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Minersville on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Tamaqua Blue Raiders out of the water with a 69-29 final score. The Battlin' Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Dante Carr, who went 11 for 14 on his way to 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shazier Bethea, who went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and seven assists.

When it comes to explaining why Tamaqua lost, don't look at Cooper Ansbach. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

The win (which was Minersville's seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Tamaqua, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Minersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-34 victory against Blue Mountain on the 17th. Tamaqua has also already played their next contest, a 55-52 loss against Pottsville on the 17th.
