Video: Mana Carvalho of Kahuku snags five interceptions, touchdown pass in blowout win over rival

Defending Hawaii state champion notches 52-17 win over fellow island power Saint Louis.

Hawaii high school football player Kaimana Carvalho of Kahuku intercepted five passes over the weekend in a 52-17 win over fellow state power Saint Louis (Honolulu). The 5-foot-11, 165-pound junior found the end zone twice for the Red Raiders, scoring on a pick-six in the first quarter and a 10-yard touchdown reception in the second.

Carvalho piled up 94 yards in returns on the night in addition to catching five passes for 31 yards. According to 247Sports, he has already received FBS offers from Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah and Washington State.

Kahuku (2-0) opened the season with a 49-0 win over Wai'anae. The Red Raiders have two monster showdowns in September starting with a trip to the mainland to take on national No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) on Sept. 9 before hosting reigning MaxPreps National Champion St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) on Sept. 16.
