Zayyir Miramontes put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out four batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
