Volleyball Recap: Waupun Takes a Loss

Waupun's tournament run continued when they took on Northland Pines on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waupun actually scored more points across those three sets (60-52), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Hayden Schultz paced Waupun's offense, picking up seven kills. Schultz got some help from Alexis Babiash and her 15 assists. Schultz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Waupun's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northland Pines, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Waupun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Omro on the 13th. As for Northland Pines, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Crandon on the 13th.
