Baseball Recap: Bergen Tech Sets Scoring Season-High Against Kennedy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bergen Tech). They came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 13-8 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 on Monday.

The win made it two in a row for Bergen Tech and bumps their season record up to 5-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bergen Tech will venture away from home to square off against Tenafly at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.58 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kennedy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Dwight Morrow at 4:15 a.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Maroon Raiders at the right time seeing as the Maroon Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
