Recap: South Philadelphia Rams vs. Vaux Big Picture
The South Philadelphia Rams were the 57-22 winner over Vaux Big Picture when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. South Philadelphia received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 52-37 to Vaux Big Picture.
Vaux Big Picture was led to victory by Kurtis Jackson and Cameron Rembert. Jackson scored 20 points along with 3 steals, while Rembert scored 16 points along with 9 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Vaux Big Picture's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Azad Curry, who scored 3 points along with 3 steals.
South Philadelphia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Vaux Big Picture, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
South Philadelphia will head out on the road to face off against Parkway Center City at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Parkway Center City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Sunday. As for Vaux Big Picture, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Benjamin Franklin at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
