Basketball Recap: Wesley Christian Skates Past Carolina Day with Ease

On Tuesday, the Wesley Christian Circuit Riders blew past the Carolina Day Wildcats, posting a 95-64 victory. Given the Circuit Riders' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 56th in Kentucky, while the Wildcats are ranked 289th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wesley Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Carolina Day, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Wesley Christian will take on Central Carolina Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carolina Day, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Carolina Day Wildcats take on the Asheville Christian Academy Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Asheville Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Carolina Day surely won't give up without a fight.
