Softball Game Preview: McKean Highlanders vs. Glasgow Dragons

The McKean Highlanders will head out on the road to take on the Glasgow Dragons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for McKean and ten for Glasgow dating back to last season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for McKean's offense. They came up short against Dickinson on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Highlanders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Glasgow lost 21-1 to Mount Pleasant on Friday.

Glasgow's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McKean, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.

McKean skirted past Glasgow 16-15 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
