Nick Salas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Trevor Waters was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Hanley, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville Christian lost 20-3 to Freedom Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Greensboro Day School's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fayetteville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
