Volleyball Recap: Holly Springs Has No Trouble Against Purnell Swett

With a playoff win on the line, Holly Springs rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Purnell Swett Rams.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Holly Springs was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-8, 25-11.

Grace Brewington paced Holly Springs' offense, picking up eight kills. Brewington got some help from Madison Pare and her 17 assists. Pare was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Holly Springs' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. As for Purnell Swett, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
