Alexandra Gonzalez Casar leads LaSalle to victory over David Posnack Jewish Day

Recap: LaSalle Royal Lions vs. David Posnack Jewish Day Rams

On Thursday, LaSalle strolled past David Posnack Jewish Day with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for LaSalle.

Alexandra Gonzalez Casar was on fire: she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. Gonzalez Casar is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Candy Cruz, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.

Sophia Klein and Eden Ezra certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Klein scored 7 points along with 4 steals, while Ezra scored 5 points along with 5 steals. Klein hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Emma Azafrani, who scored 9 points.

LaSalle now has a winning record of 2-1. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaSalle's road trip will continue as they head out to face iMater Charter at 3:30 p.m. on December 4th. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will square off against Katz Yeshiva at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
