 After losing to St. Francis the last time they met, De La Salle decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The De La Salle Meteors put the hurt on the St. Francis Spartans with a sharp  9-2 victory on Thursday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for De La Salle.
  Kaleb Navarro was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Navarro was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and five  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Beckett Hulten looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kenny Perez, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Dasaan Lee, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  got De La Salle back to even at 12-12. As for St. Francis, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De La Salle will take on Aurora Central Catholic at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for St. Francis, they will be playing at home against Marmion at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. St. Francis will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak  alive.
