Basketball Recap: Ridge Spring-Monetta Wins Going Away Against Wagener-Salley

Ridge Spring-Monetta lost to Wagener-Salley back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans came out on top against the Wagener-Salley War Eagles by a score of 43-36. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season.

Gabe King was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Briston Matthews, who earned eight points.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's record now sits at 4-14. As for Wagener-Salley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Ridge Spring-Monetta will head out to challenge North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wagener-Salley, they will be playing at home against Horse Creek Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
