Algoma waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Coleman Cougars get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 12 runs or more this season.

Algoma's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coleman, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Coming up, Algoma will welcome Peshtigo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Coleman, they will challenge Sevastopol at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
