Baseball Preview: Firestone Falcons vs. North Vikings

Firestone has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the North Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Firestone is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, while Firestone put up plenty of runs, the same can't be said for North. Firestone was the clear victor by a 16-0 margin over North. The win was just what Firestone needed coming off of a 10-0 defeat in their prior contest.

Nick Cribbet made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks). Cribbet was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

In other pitching news, Luke Rhamy looked comfortable as he scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Back at the plate, Simon Hostler was incredible, going 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and a double. Another player making a difference was Brennen Hostler, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

The victory got Firestone back to even at 2-2. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
