Football Recap: Somerville Piles Up the Points Against Boston Latin

Somerville's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Boston Latin Wolfpack to the tune of 40-6. With the Highlanders ahead 27-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

The victory got Somerville back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerville will challenge Boston English/New Mission at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boston Latin, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Boston at 6:00 p.m. on September 12.
