Softball Recap: USC-MAE Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, USC-MAE was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to the Narbonne Gauchos. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 14-4 to the Gauchos when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

USC-MAE's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Narbonne, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. USC-MAE will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Narbonne, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Santee at 3:00 p.m. Narbonne is facing Santee at the right time seeing as Santee is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
