Wesson had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Crystal Springs on Monday. The Cobras put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Wesson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-13, 25-22.

Wesson's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Wesson will be playing at home against North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crystal Springs, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bogue Chitto at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
