Basketball Recap: Santa Maria Comes Up Short

Santa Maria lost against Paso Robles back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santa Maria Saints took a 79-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paso Robles Bearcats.

Santa Maria's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Paso Robles, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Santa Maria will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cabrillo at 6:45 p.m. As for Paso Robles, they will challenge Orcutt Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Orcutt Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
