Volleyball Recap: Peoria Comes Up Short

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Normal West Wildcats. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-9.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Normal West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Peoria is set to take on their familiar foe Champaign Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Normal West will face off against rival Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
