Basketball Recap: Logan Skates Past Rowland Hall with Ease

Logan barely beat Rowland Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Grizzlies claimed a resounding 58-20 win over the Winged Lions. With the Grizzlies ahead 30-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Despite the defeat, Rowland Hall saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mina Bailey posted 12 points. That was a full 60% of the Winged Lions' points, marking the third time in a row Bailey has had more than a third of the team's points.

Logan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 38 points this season. As for Rowland Hall, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Logan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Rowland Hall, they will head out to square off against Tintic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
