Football Recap: Dallastown Comes Up Short

Dallastown was the 42-20 winner over Red Lion when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats received a blow on Friday as they fell 36-17 to the Lions. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Dallastown still got an impressive performance from Jadyn Arias, who rushed for 114 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Mason Platts was his usual excellent self, throwing for 249 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 56 yards and one TD for Red Lion. That's the most rushing yards Platts has posted since back in September. 80 of Platts' passing yards were hauled in by Hunter Koons, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Dallastown's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Red Lion, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-6.

As of now, neither Dallastown nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
