Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mercer County last Tuesday, East Jessamine came back down to earth. The East Jessamine Jaguars were beaten by the West Jessamine Colts 68-31 on Friday. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Jessamine has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for West Jessamine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

East Jessamine has already played their next contest (against Burgin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Jessamine will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Laurel at 7:30 p.m.
