Sterling won the last time they faced Fort Morgan and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers walked away with a 10-6 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Aiden Ortega was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Sam Emmerson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Sterling's record is now 5-1. As for Fort Morgan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Sterling will head out to square off against Brush at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Morgan, they will host Alameda at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
