Edison hadn't done well against Madera recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Coyotes with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Tuesday.

Edison was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-14.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 17-19. As for Madera, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-27 record this season.

Edison is taking a road trip to take on Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madera does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
