Basketball Recap: Cushman Piles Up the Points Against Redland Christian Academy

Cushman won the last time they faced Redland Christian Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Cushman Cougars really took it to the Redland Christian Academy FALCONS for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-39 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cougars had established a 23 point advantage.

Cushman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Fremgen Jackson, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jalen Kotalik, who put up 12 points.

Despite the loss, Redland Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Prince Howell, Jr earned 24 points. That was a full 61.5% of Redland Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devyn Jackson, who posted five points.
