Ludlowe and Warde are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Falcons will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ludlowe comes in on seven and Warde on four.

Ludlowe is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Ridgefield, who was ranked tenth at the time (Ludlowe was ranked eighth). The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Monday.

The win didn't come easy: Ridgefield scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Warde won the last time they faced Staples and Kayla Huynh did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs came out on top against the Wreckers by a score of 3-1 on Monday for which the team can thank Huynh, who had 14 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

While Warde might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Staples scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Warde's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Ludlowe, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Ludlowe might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Warde when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
