Velva extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Keely Cadwell. The Aggies walked away with a 2-0 victory over the North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats on Saturday for which the team can thank Cadwell, who had 13 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Velva's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather], they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Velva wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Non Varsity Opponent on the 27th. As for North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather], they will face off against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
