             Thursday just wasn't the day for Plant's offense. They lost  26-0 to the Armwood Hawks on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings  (they are ranked 101st, while the Hawks are ranked eighth).
 Even if they lost, Plant's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was  Ty Conze with  two. Plant got some further help from  Alex Tate: he picked up  a  sack and made 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
 The critical scores for Armwood came from  Tyler J. Williams,  Girard Pringle Jr.,  Cameron White,  and  Olontae Dean.  Rhys Brush was another key player, throwing for 195 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes.
 Plant is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Armwood, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 After each having a week off, Plant and Berkeley Prep will dust off their jerseys to  take on  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on October 19th. As for Armwood, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Steinbrenner at 7:30  p.m.  on October 18th. Armwood's defense has only allowed ten  points per game  this season, so Steinbrenner's offense will have their work cut out for them.
