Basketball Recap: Lone Peak Comes Up Short

Lone Peak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 31st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 63-47 bruising from the Whitehall Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-19 two weeks ago.

Lone Peak's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Whitehall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Lone Peak will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson at 5:15 p.m. on February 26th. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season. Whitehall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
