Baseball Recap: Southern Aroostook Warriors vs. Katahdin Cougars

Southern Aroostook extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 4-7 in the process. They lost 20-9 to the Katahdin Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on May 13th.

Connor Lilley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Southern Aroostook is 2-1 when Lilley posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ethan Collier, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since May 5th.
