Oak Forest Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Pearl River Central Blue Devils 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on four straight.

The team relied heavily on Logan Freche, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Kelsey, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Oak Forest Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pearl River Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Oak Forest Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Bowling Green on the 21st. As for Pearl River Central, they will square off against Terry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
