Baseball Recap: Central Valley Hawks vs. Ripon Indians

There's no place like home for Central Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Ripon Indians on Friday as the Central Valley Hawks made off with a 12-2 victory. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Chris Garcia made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
