Basketball Recap: Calvary Baptist Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, Calvary Baptist were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-52 to the Martin Luther Panthers. Calvary Baptist has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Baptist now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Martin Luther, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lehigh Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Martin Luther will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Lincoln Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
