Volleyball Recap: Whitesburg Christian Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Whitesburg Christian Academy barely beat Brindlee Mountain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Brindlee Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitesburg Christian Academy will challenge Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brindlee Mountain, they will take on New Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
