Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cold Springs). They were the clear victor by a 16-6 margin over the Holly Pond Broncos on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.

With the win, Cold Springs broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8-1. As for Holly Pond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Holly Pond, they will challenge Locust Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
