Volleyball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

If Middletown was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Tuxedo on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Middie Bears lost 3-0 to the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Monroe-Woodbury, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown will host Warwick at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m.
