Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Providence Christian Academy was the 27-25 winner over West Nottingham when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Providence Christian Academy Griffins took a 29-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Nottingham Rams on Friday.

West Nottingham can attribute much of their success to Kay Lewis, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Carmen Martin, who scored eight points.

Providence Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Nottingham, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5.

Providence Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Tome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Nottingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 40-20 defeat against Tri-State Christian on the 28th.
