Recap: Douglass Red Devils vs. Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP Diplomat Lions
The Douglass Red Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP 81-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Jarmon Brittman, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Thompson, who scored 15 points.
Douglass' win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Douglass' road trip will continue as they head out to face Springdale at 1:30 p.m. on December 9th. Springdale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 66th in Arkansas, while Douglass is ranked 13th in Tennessee). Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
