Soccer Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon managed to keep up with Erie until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hawks lost 4-1 to the Tigers. Madison McLachlan was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Horizon's goal came courtesy of Mia Kresnik, who's now up to two this season.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Erie, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-3-2.

Coming up, Horizon will head out to face off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon's defense better be ready for this one: Fairview have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. As for Erie, they will take on Broomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
