After a string of three wins, the Greenwood Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenville. Greenwood has struggled against Greenville recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Greenwood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cj Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Terrell has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brooks, who scored 13 points.
