Football Recap: Anclote Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Anclote's offense. They came up short against the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers on Tuesday, falling 20-0. The Sharks' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Christina Fowler threw for 74 yards on 12 of 26 attempts. Aryanna Kendrick was her top target, picking up 54 receiving yards.

Anclote's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-4.

Anclote didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-0 loss against Gulf on the 7th. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-0 defeat against Dunedin on the 2nd.
