Basketball Recap: Warwick's Run of Eight Straight Victories Now Over

After a string of eight wins, Warwick's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Elizabethtown Bears by a score of 43-41. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Warwick's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 16-2. As for Elizabethtown, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warwick will challenge Manheim Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Manheim Central is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Warwick a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Elizabethtown, they are taking a road trip to face off against Conestoga Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
