Basketball Recap: Pine Forest Falls to Navarre in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Pine Forest kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Navarre Raiders, falling 77-41. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Navarre's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Theriault, who went 6-for-12 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Johnson, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Forest will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against West Florida at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Navarre, they will welcome Fort Walton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
