Soccer Game Preview: Kenton Ridge vs. Greenville

The Kenton Ridge Cougars will take on the Greenville Green Wave at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Kenton Ridge and Benjamin Logan, and Benjamin Logan kept the tradition alive. The Cougars fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Greenville's offense. They lost 17-0 to Fairborn on Wednesday. Greenville have struggled against Fairborn recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Kenton Ridge, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Kenton Ridge beat Greenville 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2021. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
