Football Game Preview: Cupertino Pioneers vs. Jefferson Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Cupertino Pioneers will challenge the Jefferson Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cupertino has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with nine straight losses, while Jefferson will come in with six straight victories.

Cupertino is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were outmatched by El Camino and fell 61-21.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 15 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brandon Cheng, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Jefferson made easy work of Homestead on Friday and carried off a 38-12 win. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Cupertino better keep an eye on Robert Saulny-Green. He was instrumental in Jefferson's win, rushing for 84 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 113 yards and two TDs. Another player making a difference was Dominic Howard, who rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cupertino, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
