Basketball Recap: Linsly Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forsyth Country Day, Linsly was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes by a score of 54-45. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cadets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Linsly's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.2 points per game. As for Dover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Linsly will take on Summit Christian Academy in a tournament on January 10th. As for Dover, they and Indian Valley will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Indian Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Dover likes a good challenge.
