Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian School Kings vs. New Covenant Gryphons

The Grace Christian School Kings and the New Covenant Gryphons will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Grace Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully New Covenant likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Grace Christian School ended up a good deal behind Liberty Christian and lost 76-58. The game marked the Kings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, New Covenant entered their tilt with Southampton Academy on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They breezed by the Raiders to the tune of 84-23. The Gryphons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

New Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Grace Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

Grace Christian School strolled past New Covenant in their previous matchup back in November by a score of 67-52. Will Grace Christian School repeat their success, or does New Covenant have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
